4-DAY UGANDA GORILLA ENCOUNTER

The 4 days safari goes through the South Western from the central after the pick up from the hotel, Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park that hosts half of the Endangered Mountain Gorillas population.

Day 1: Entebbe – Arrival

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our guide will receive and take you to your lodging for a restful night in anticipation of the ultimate tour experience in the pearl of Africa.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel (airport) for your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This trip leads you southwest of the country to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will drive through savanna meadows and see banana plantations. Get to take photos at the Equator line where you will be in the middle of the world. (Lunch will be en route on this day)

Day 3: Bwindi – Gorilla tracking

After breakfast,  You will be accompanied by a guide to the tracking starting point for briefing, You will then set off to the thick forest in search of gorillas. The terrain can be difficult, with steep slopes covered in dense vegetation that gives the park its name. In addition, the altitude of 5200 feet and more means participants do need to be physically fit. The time taken to track the gorillas varies enormously, from as little as half an hour to as much as 8 hours before one returns to the hotel. The difficulty, however, is not an impossibility and coming face to face with the great primates is well worth it!

Day 4: Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast, you can opt for the early morning Batwa community experience and later transfer back to Entebbe via the equator for  your scheduled flight

We shall make a Lunch break at Igongo cultural center
